Recommended 6" Rise Ball Mount With 6" Clearance Between Hitch Pin Hole and Ball Mount
Question:
I have a 2016 Acura RDX I will be using to tow a U-Haul trailer. I need a ball mount with a 6 inch rise but also one that places the pin 6 inches behind the rise to clear the bumper. The Curt Mfg 8 inch /6 inch rise only provide 3 1/2” of clearance. What do you recommend for this?

We have exactly what you need.
I recommend the Reese Adjustable Ball Mount - 5,000 lb # RP21141 which will fit the 2" trailer hitch receiver on your 2016 Acura RDX and measures 6" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the ball mount so it will clear the bumper on your vehicle.
The # RP21141 has a 1" diameter hitch ball hole so you will need 1-7/8" hitch ball # C40002, 2" hitch ball # 40038, or 2-5/16" hitch ball # C40007 to match the coupler of the trailer you plan on towing.
I included a diagram showing the dimensions of the # RP21141 for you to take a look at.
