Can the Swagman XTC4 be Used on a Front-Mounted Hitch

Can the swagman xtc4 be mounted on a front receiver hitch? I’m thinking about putting a replacement bumper on my truck that has a receiver hitch on it.

The Swagman XTC4, part # S64665, can be used on a front-mounted hitch. However, there are some things you will need to keep in mind.

First, this bike rack has a 3" rise on its shank, so you'll need to add that to your tallest bike and ensure that this will not impede your vision while driving.

Second, this rack measures 12-3/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the wheel hoop. You'll need to make sure that this is enough clearance and that there is still enough room for airflow.

Finally, this has a weight of 59 lbs. Make sure your hitch can handle this along with the weight of your bikes.

If you do not have a hitch for your 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty, I recommend the Curt Front Mount, part # C31078. It has a vertical load of 500 pounds, so it will be able to handle this rack and the bikes with no problem.
