Is Modification Necessary to Use the Diversi-Tech Self-Locking Adjustable Ball Mount # DTALBM6407
Question:
How much of the locking pin is exposed through the reciever tube holes once the hitch has been secured? Do you have any photos showing a Diversi hitch locked into a standard 2inch reciever tube? Do I have to modify my standard 2inch reciever locking pin holes to accomodate the locking pins on a Diversi hitch?

Once the Diversi-Tech Self-Locking Adjustable Ball Mount, # DTALBM6407, is secured to your trailer hitch, the locking tabs will be flush with the side of your trailer hitch receiver tube. We have this item in stock, so I pulled one from our warehouse and installed it in a truck that we had on our lot. I have attached a drivers side and a passenger side photo showing what the locking tabs look like once this ball mount is installed.
You will not need to modify your trailer hitch to use this ball mount. This ball mount was designed to work with standard 2 inch trailer hitches that use a standard 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin.
