What Parts do I Need for a Complete Roof Rack System for a 2016 GMC Yukon XL?

I would like to purchase item part # Y00422-482104 for my 2016 Yukon xl Denali upon reading the reviews it appears I must need other roof rack accessories first. I am interested in using this rack to its maximum capacity For hauling heavy items. Thanks

I have a great solution for you. Unfortunately, the Yakima CoreBar Crossbar System for Retrax XR Series Tonneau Covers are only installable on truck beds. It will not fit on your flush factory rails on your 2016 GMC Yukon XL Denali.

With that being said, for a great roof rack with a 220-pound weight capacity on your vehicle, I recommend the following roof rack setup:

For this setup, you will be able to mount accessories and cargo on your 2016 GMC Yukon XL Denali up to 220 pounds. To make sure that this doesn't extend over your vehicle roof's recommended maximum weight capacity, I recommend confirming with your owner's manual.
