Troubleshooting Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller 39510 With Blinking Orange Light
Question:
My brake controller never goes red when adjusting. Only blinking Orange. It popped fuse one time but has not popped the new one. Is this normal or do I have a short some were? Checked all connections to controller. They are good.

Since your Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 is blinking orange there is one of two things going on.
The first is that the ground wire is not making a good connection causing the issue. You can check this by making sure your ground wire is securely connected to clean corrosion free metal.
The second is that the blue brake output wire has a short in it. Since you mentioned a fuse blew one time this would be my guess. You will need to check the blue brake output wire running to the 7-way connector for any damage that could be causing a short. If you cannot find any damage you can cut the blue wire at least 6" from the controller and see if the light stops blinking.
If it does then there is an issue with the blue brake output wire, and I would just go ahead and replace it with # 10-1-1.
I included a video of the # 39510 for you to take a look at.
