The Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # RP30928 that you mention is not for a short bed trucks, it is not a slider type hitch. This can be used in short bed trucks such as your 2015 F350 with 6-1/2' bed if you also have a rotating king pin box such as the Reese Sidewinder, # RP34FR and the required Sidewinder Wedge Kit, # RP44FR.

This one of, if not the best, 5th wheel hitches on the market. It is made in the USA from material that is also sourced in the US. This is constructed with high grade steel and has superior powder coating. The 1" thick jaw on the Companion is precision machined to provide a tight, sturdy connection. For a 20K 5th Wheel Hitch there is the B&W Companion w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs. # BWRVK3400-5W that uses the under bed installation kit, # BWGNRK1116-5W. This is better than a traditional mounting kit as this setup doubles as a gooseneck hitch when the fifth wheel is removed, and the underbed design allows for full bed access.

We also have the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs., # C16541. and the installation rail kit, # BWRVK2402. This too is a very solid well built hitch, I do prefer the B&W hitches but the Curt brand do come in close behind. This heavy-duty 5th-wheel trailer hitch has interlocking jaws, a torsion head, and a color-coded lock indicator for safety and security. Non-binding slider ensures proper clearance during slow turns. Slider travel is 12" front to back with a hitch height of 17-1/2" - 21-1/2".
