How Can I Install a Ford OEM Prep Hitch Into My 2006 Dodge Ram 3500?
Question:
I currently Have the Reese M5 RP30921 which is for a Ford OEM prep puck package. I just want to make sure that the ford M5 hitch is correct for the 2006 Dodge with the RP30074 Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches. So ford hitch in dodge truck with RP30074.

The Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30921 is designed to fit into the Ford OEM Prep and the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30074 as they share the same dimensions. They both are 13" front to back and 30" side to side mounting locations.
So by installing the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30074 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 you will be able to use the Reese M5 # RP30921 that you already have.
