Recommended 2014 Arctic Fox Travel Trailer Leaf Springs and Shocks

Question:

I have a 2014 Arctic Fox 31D. I need new leaf springs for one axle. The axles are AL-KO Double Eye Suspension. One snapped and I want to replace the pair on that axle. I would also like to replace the shocks on both axles. What do I need? I am stranded and have a very short window to get these replaced. Dexter said they would be #27-202 2500 lbs 25 1/4inch x 1 3/4inch 4 leaf axles. I want to be sure before I place this order and I would like to order the springs and the shocks together. One more question: I was only going to replace the leaf springs on the front axleleave well enough alone on the rear axle. Does that make sense or should I replace all 4? Thank you

From the measurements you provided, the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e27SR will be the closest in length we have available. That being said, your current springs do look a bit flattened out, so it will be a good idea to replace all 4 of them with something that has a little more capacity. The 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # SP-222275 will be a little shorter at 24 7/8 inches, but will have a higher capacity of 2,650 pounds per spring. The # e27SR is rated to 2,250 pounds per spring and may be a little under rated. The # SP-222275 will also be a 6 leaf, but it looks like your current U-Bolts will accommodate this.

As to the shocks, we do have the Lippert # LC281255, which will be for a 2-3/8 Inch axle, and the Lippert # LC281281, which will be for a 3 inch axle. Both of these will be full replacements as well.
