Suggested Suspension Enhancement for a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

Have a issue with sagging once I place the trailer on my hitch. Recommended TW is 500 and the trailer is rated at 409 lbs and the car can tow 5000 points and the Ge of the trailer is 2900 lbs. once I attach the trailer the whole rear end says to the ground. What can do to get the vehicle up to towing my trailer.

We have a few options to supplement the suspension on your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. The first will be the SumoSprings # CSS-1195R. This is an easy to install, set it and forget it part. That being said, it will stay installed and will affect the ride when not towing, but will definitely help when you are.

The other option we have is the Firstone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4118. This is the option I would go with. This has to do with the adjustability of them. They can be adjusted from up to 35 psi, giving you a good amount of support when towing, all the way down to 5 psi, making them feel almost nonexistent when not towing.
