Are There Replacement Spring Bars Available for the Reese RP65509 Weight Distribution System?
Question:
Do you sell separate parts for the hitch. I broke one of the l-shaped arms? Do I have to buy the whole hitch?

Expert Reply:
The replacement spring bars for the Reese # RP65509 are no longer available from the manufacturer, unfortunately. That being said, if one of the original bars broke, you may need one that has a little more capacity, which we do carry.
The Reese Replacement Round Bar # RP58114 is rated from 400 pounds at the minimum up to 800 pounds at the maximum. The bars for your # RP65509 are rated from 200 pounds to 600 pounds. So it isn't too much higher. However, you should double check your loaded tongue weight before deciding to go with heavier bars.
