8 Inch Hitch Extender For 2 Inch Hitch That With Less Than 4-1/2 Inches of Depth

Question:

I have a 2016 Ford Transit and need an extender to install my Wilco Hitchswing. My Hitchswing needs 4.5 inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole rearward because of its wedge lock system. Do you have any 7 or 8 inch extenders that can handle 4.5 inches of clearance? I have a 12 inch that accommodates it, but dont want to extend any longer than necessary. As an fyi, I plan to carry max 200 lbs including the Hitchswing so the reduced weight capacity of the extender on my Transit hitch should not be an issue. Thanks

We do have an 8 inch hitch extender for a 2 inch hitch that has less than 4-1/2 inches of depth from the center of the hitch pin hole rearward, from Curt:

- Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers - 8" Long # C45791

This extender measures just 2 inches from the center of its rear hitch pin hole to the back of the extender, so it will allow you to have the needed 4-1/2 inches of clearance. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
