Can Step Through Frame Bikes Be Used on Hollywood Racks HR1450Z Sport Rider Bike Rack

Will the HR1450z bike rack work with a step thru e bike? Thanks

As it comes 'out of the box', the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HR1450z wouldn't work well with a bike that has a step through frame. However, if you used a bike frame adapter like # SA3040 which spans the distance between the seat post tube and the handlebar stem, providing a level spot for the bike rack's frame hook to attach, the bike will fit perfectly.
Hollywood Racks confirms that this is an acceptable way for the rack to accommodate a bike with a step-through frame.
