Difference Between Hollywood Racks # HR1450Z and # HLY84FR Bike Racks
Question:
Currently I have the Hollywood HR1450. My question Is the HLY84FR a beefed up version of the HR1450?

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 # HR1450Z that you currently have and the SE2 # HR1450E that you referenced are essentially the same bike rack with one major difference. Your existing SE2 rack is a great carrier that features a weight capacity of 50 pounds per bike, which is really quite robust for a standard platform rack. The SE # HLY84FR on the other hand is specifically designed for electric bikes, which can get pretty heavy. This particular model rack can secure two bikes that are up to 80 pounds each.
Other than the weight capacity, the two carriers share matching features such as built-in bike and hitch locks, a tilt-away mechanism, and adjustable wheel mounts to accept a variety of wheel sizes and wheelbases. Unless you plan on transporting bikes that will exceed 50 pounds each, there really is no need to make the upgrade from your existing rack.
I have attached the installation manual on the electric bike model that you can also take a look at.
