Primus IQ Brake Controller For 2021 Kia Telluride With Factory Installed Brake Controller Wiring

Question:

I have a factory installed plugin and a trailer brake controller harness for my new 2021 Kia Telluride. The 4-wire pigtail on the harness will easily connect to the 4 wires on the Primus. Question: do I need to add an auto resetting circuit breaker or, since the factory installed the connector and supplied the harness, can I assume there is already one on the vehicle?

You will not need to install any other parts on your 2021 Kia Telluride besides the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160. The fuses and relays under the hood should have been installed by the factory as part of the kit.
