What Would Cause Trailer Jack to Stop Working When Only Connected to Battery
Question:
I have a power tongue jack on my travel trailer. The jack has worked fine on just the trailer battery, however, late last season it would only work through the wiring connection to the towing vehicle or when the trailer is connected to 120v power. In both cases the trailer battery is connected as well. The fuse in the circuit from the battery to the jack does not appear to be blown. Any ideas on what to look for next.

Sounds like the battery isn't as strong as it once was. I'd put it on a charger like the CTEK # CTEK56353 to make sure it's fully charged and also make sure all of the jack connections to the battery are solid as well.
