Recommended Wiring To Rewire 16 Gooseneck Trailer
Question:
I have a 16 foot circle w goose neck. I want to completely rewire it. Need new battery box and battery and breakaway too. Would like to use the 7 way plug with the junction box. Will be pulling with a 2021 dodge 2500 diesel tradesman edition. Can u put together a list of the things I need for this job and the wiring diagram.

Starting with the 7-way connector and junction box I recommend the kit # HS381-9000.
To rewire the lights on the trailer I recommend using the 35 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness - Wishbone Style - 42" Ground # A35W42B and cutting off the 4 way connector so you can add each wire to the junction box. This will be the most cost effective way to get the wiring needed.
Lastly I recommend the Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit with Built-In Battery Charger - Top Load # 20400 which comes with the battery box, battery, battery charger, and break away switch.
