Troubleshooting 7-way Connector On 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Has Power But Trailer Lights Don't Work
Question:
have 2010 silverado. factory wire to plug has voltage at one 11 oclock blade. when plugged into trailer connection, no trailer lites. When i jump the the 11 to one connector on trailer plug cable the running lights come on. this kind of eliminates the trailer. All fuses on truck are good. Trailer, KZ sportsmen classic

Since you mentioned the factory connector on your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado does have power, but it is not powering any lights when the connector of your trailer is plugged in it sounds like there is an issue with the connectors.
I recommended checking both the vehicle and trailer connectors for any debris or yellow/green corrosion that could be causing the power to not make its way to the trailer lights.
If you find corrosion, try to clean it out and test the lights again. It is possible if there is visible corrosion that there is also corrosion inside of the connector causing issues as well, which would require the connector to be replaced.
For a trailer side replacement you can use the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Trailer End # PK12706 and for a vehicle side replacement you can use the Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors # 30955.
