Torklift brackets and Happijac Tie-Downs Too Short
Question:
I have a 2017 F150 with Torklift frame mount brackets. I bought these turnbuckles because the experts answered a similar question saying they would work, but they are far too short due to the fact that Happijac brackets are much higher than Torklifts. Is there a longer Jinch bolt that is available or am I going to have to use chain to make up the length? If I need to use chain, how thick? I need about 37 inches total length front and back.

Please review the TorkLift Basic SpringLoad Turnbuckles for Camper Tie-Downs, Qty 2, # TLS9000. This kit lets you easily secure your truck bed camper to your TorkLift frame-mounted tie-downs, the spring-loaded barrels help minimize stress on tie-down points with steel turnbuckles. You can use a length of chain with what you have, or return and purchase a longer size tie-down component.
