Determining The Correct Leaf Springs For 3500lb Axle

Question:

Will these leaf springs fit the 35545I-EZ-89 3,500 pound axle? Will the APUBR-1 mounting kit for a 3,500 pound axle work for these leaf springs e94SR?

I have another option for you, but the # e94SR you were looking at are for 6000lb axles and will be too stiff to use with a 3500lb axle.

For the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Idler Hubs - EZ-Lube - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs # 35545I-EZ-89 you were looking at the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-1 will work perfectly.

To determine the correct leaf springs you will need to measure your current leaf springs from center of spring eye to center of spring eye. When taking this measurement you will need to make sure the axle is off the ground, and no weight is on the spring as weight will stretch the spring and give you an inaccurate measurement.

The 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 23-1/8" Long # e59SR is designed for a 3500lb axle and measures 23-1/8" long from center of spring eye to center of spring eye as shown in the included diagram.

If this matches your current leaf springs this would work perfectly. If you have leaf springs that are a different length just let me know.
