Recommended Air Helper Springs For 2000 Ford F-250 W/ Reese RP50082-58 5th Wheel Rails
Question:
I have a 2000 F250 Super Duty Crew Cab 6-3/4foot bed that I am putting a 5th wheel hitch on with Reese hitch Kit 50082-58. Is this air bag system compatible with hitch kit?

I have another option for you, but the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57291 you were looking at for your 2000 Ford F-250 is only designed to work with the two older B&W 5th wheel hitch rails and will not work with the Reese # RP50082-58.
Instead I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2550 which will work perfectly with the # RP50082-58 and will offer 5000lbs of load leveling support when towing your 5th wheel trailer or carrying a heavy payload.
To keep from needing to manually air up the air helper springs each time you are ready to tow or carry a heavy payload I recommend adding an on-board air compressor # F2610 which will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the springs from your smartphone.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
