Is There a Light Kit and License Plate Bracket for Bike Racks

Question:

I was wondering if there is an easy way to install a light kit to the easy fold. If I carry the bikes with a cover on them, the taillights on my F150 are almost completed blocked. Have been looking for a 4 prong light kit but wanted to get your input as well. Ideally, a license plate light would also be useful.

I have a possible solution for you.

First, though, we don't have light kits and plate brackets made specifically for bike racks, including the Thule EasyFold XT, part # TH903202.

We do have a kit that is designed for cargo baskets. It's the etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit, part # e98943-44LED. You could mount this to your EasyFold with screws or possibly zip ties. I've linked to a video reviw of this below.

For the wiring, if you let me know what year your Ford F-150 is, I can recommend the proper wiring to power the light kit.
