Recommended Timbren Axle-Less System on a Small Trailer

Question:

Which Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension would you recommend to use with this trailer and the position the the wheel well is attached to the trailer? I wont be hauling anything over a 1000lbs on the trailer and Ill be using Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire Item # AM10199 with Aluminum Viking Series Valhalla Trailer Wheel - 13 x 5 - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver Spoke Item # AX02350545BMFL. Do I need to buy anything else to make this wheel well, tires and wheel combo work? Thanks!

Choosing the correct Timbren Axle-Less system will depend on a few things. First will be the weight capacity needed. Going off the 1,000 pound load you could be going up to, I am going to suggest a 2,000 pound set up. That being said, these do have larger spindles than the average 2,000 pound capacity axles. The utilize the inner bearing # L68149 and the outer bearing # L44649, which are more common on a 3,500 pound axle. So depending on the bearings you have, you may need to add the etrailer.com Idler Hub # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K.

The Timbren # ASR2KHDS01 is rated to 2,000 pounds and looks to be a good option for the weight capacity you need. When fully installed, this would give you 3 3/16 inches from the bottom of the trailer frame to the center of the spindle.
The Timbren # ASR2KHDS04 is rated the same 2,000 pounds, but would offer 7 1/2 inches of clearance.
