For a trailer hitch for your 2000 Ford Expedition I really like the Curt part # C13125. It has a7500lb towing capacity which would be more than enough for your travel trailer.
For the wiring you'd first need to start with a 4-way like the part # 118344 and then convert to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 which also comes with everything needed to wire up a brake controller like our great performing and great priced Brake EVN # TK63VR.
