Wiring for 7 Way Plug without Traditional Colors Used
Question:
I don’t have the traditional colors on my wires. I have the green yellow and white. But then I have a wire that’s green with brown and yellow with brown can you help me

Trailer wires won't have a "standard" color to them all of the time, so your best bet is going to be to use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to test the functions of each wire to determine what it corresponds to. Sometimes when the wires have the green with brown and yellow with brown it means that the two running/tail light circuits are separate and would need to be combined coming from the vehicle into the 7 way.
