Ball Mount With 1 Inch Rise That Extends More Than 6-1/2 Inches & Fits 2 Inch Trailer Hitch
Question:
With a distance of 6-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper, and needing a 1” rise, what length ball mount do I need for towing a small trailer?

We can get you set up with a longer ball mount that has 1 inch of rise and will fit your 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. There is a really good option from Curt that is extended and will work perfectly for you:
- Curt Solid Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 1" Rise, 2" Drop - 10" Long # C45312
This ball mount measures 10 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole so it will give you the clearance you need. Then to secure the ball mount to your hitch, you will need the Curt Pin and Clip # C21510 or Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98882.
Finally, you'll need the correct hitch ball, which for a 2" coupler is the 2" Hitch Ball # A-90.
