Can the strap be pulled out in the high speed position? Does that make it easier to pull out?

On the Fulton XLT, 2-Speed Trailer Winch - 3,200 lbs # FW142425 you were looking at you can pull the strap out in either the high gear or low gear, but this will not make it easier to pull the strap out as it will just change the number of times the handle spins and does not affect the force needed to pull the strap. If you want to easily pull the strap out without the handle turning, you can put the winch into the neutral gear.
