Can Convert-a-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Help with Abrupt Elevation Change

Question:

Using a 2006 Dodge 2500 Extra cab short bed with 140 inch wheel base with BandW turnover ball to tow a 29 ft. Alpinelite 5th wheel with a Convert-A Ball offset gooseneck adapter. We have bought 2 of the Convert-A- Ball offset adapters from E-Trailer. Easy to install and good customer service. Work great on level roads. I want to move the trailer to a mountain lot. The paved driveway rises 16 inches in the first 20 feet. How can I calculate the changes in clearance between the truck sidewalls and the trailer as the truck and trailer go up the slope? And how can I calculate the in the rear of the trailer before the trailer wheels reach the toe of the slope? I dont want to tow the trailer 100 miles up in the mountains until I know I can get it safely up the drive. Thanks for your help

That we are aware of there isn't a formula out there that can calculate the clearance you are looking for. The # CAB-C5GX1216 is height adjustable from 12 inches tall to 16 inches tall. If you are using the short height currently you would be able to crank the height up at the driveway if you find that you need more height than available.

Also if there's any way to approach the driveway at an angle that will help make the height difference less abrupt.
