If you are only needing the suspension enhancement for pulling a travel trailer with your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 I wouldn't recommend any. You will be much better off going with a weight distribution hitch with sway control. The weight distribution hitch will better distribute the weight across your truck giving you a level ride. It is also adjustable so it can be fine tuned for your truck and trailer, and can be moved to different trucks and trailers if you decide to make a change.
The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET is the one I recommend for you. This is a great hitch that adds a sway control built in. The sway control benefits you by reducing sway that you would normally get while driving down the road caused by wind and other large trucks on the road. This hitch is designed to work with trailers up to 10,000lbs with a tongue weight between 600-1000lbs. If you have a different tongue weight please let me know and I will suggest a system that meets your needs.
A set of Sway Bracket Jackets # EQ95-01-5150 will help to reduce the noise of the steel bars riding on the steel L brackets. They will also extend the life of the moving parts by reducing friction.
