Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Lincoln MKX to Carry a Hollywood Rack # HR1400

Will the strap work on a 2012 Lincoln MKX? Looking at a Curt hitch class II and a Hollywood Hr 1400 bike carrier 4 bikes.

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap # 18050 would work well on your 2012 Lincoln MKX and would be recommended for any non-supported loads, like a bike rack, with a Curt Class II hitch.
However, you will need to get a Class III hitch in order to carry the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4-Bike Carrier # HR1400Z. For that I would recommend you get a Curt Trailer Hitch Class III # C13067.
Or, if you do not want to mess with using a stabilizing strap you could get a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75992. This Class III hitch does not require the use of a stabilizing strap with a bike rack and is confirmed to work on your vehicle.
