Replacement Leaf Springs for 1998 Coachmen Catalina 364 TBS

Question:

I have a 1998 Coachmen Catalina 364 TBS. It has a base weight of 8,400 lbs and a carry capacity of 10,000 lbs On the spec sheet it states 7330 axle weight. I assume the axles are a Dexter 5200? And am looking for replacement springs and u-bolts. They are currently 4 leaf and measure 26.5inch eye to eye.

Based on the weight capacity you mentioned seeing on the spec sheet the best option for a leaf spring would be the part # SP-222275 which is for a 5,300 lb axle but is a bit shorter at 24-7/8 inches which is more common on the higher capacity axles. So then for a U-bolt kit you'd want the part # CE23003 which fits the 3 inch round axles which are the size of 5,200 lb axles.

It will probably make the most sense to go with a new hanger kit too since the leaf springs are a shorter and you'd have to move them anyway so for that we have the tandem kit part # APT9.
