Recommended Roof Rack to Use Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning On 2016 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I want to install this Batwing on a 2016 Odyssey with factory rails. I have factory crossbars, so I need to upgrade to bars with a T track. I found the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack MPG216, are the 58inch long enough and is that rack adequate to carry the awning and a Yakima SkyBox 16 roofbox lightly loaded ?

Expert Reply:
I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack (65" Long) part # MPG217 when mounting an awning like the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning part # RR33200 on a 2016 Honda Odyssey. The longer bars will help get the awning out away from the vehicle more. It also gives more space for other accessories to be used.
