How does ecoboost affect the selection or installation?

For Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75679 it will fit a 2012 Ford Flex with or without the Ecoboost engine. The installation instructions, which I have linked for you, are the same for either configuration. Since the Ecoboost models have dual exhaust, the sections in the instructions that deal with lowering the exhaust will apply to both sides.
I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For wiring use # 118472. I have linked instructions and a video for the wiring as well.
