Rhino Rack T-Load and Crossbar Setup for Carrying Canoe with 2018 Ram 3500 Crew Cab

Question:

I have a 2018 Ram 3500 long bed crew cab truck. I tow a fifth wheel and i want to carry a 16 foot canoe over the truck cab. I have looked at several different options for roof racks and front hitch supports, but want to know what are the best options. I am looking at the Rhino rack T-load support vs the Tule goal post. Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar for 2inch Hitches - 49inch Long - RTL002 I am also looking at the Rhino rack roof racks but Im not sure if i should get the ditch mount or the window frame support mount. Ditch Brackets for Rhino-Rack RLT600 Quick Mount Legs - 19 mm - Rivet Mount - Qty 2 - RRQMFK15 I dont mind doing the permanent ditch mount and riveting it to the roof, I just want the strongest solution. What would be your recommendation for the strongest, most durable solution for this situation. I have attached some photos of rigs that i have run across in my travels to get an idea of what i am looking for. I am also getting a 65063Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2inch - 65063 or EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2inch but this seems to be on backorder Thanks for your help

The simplest and best solution for a single crossbar and hitch mounted upright to carry a canoe would be the Rhino Rack # RRVA150B, # RRRLKVAH, # RTL002, and # DK043H. With the Rhino Rack setup you get a higher quality rack that's very stable and easy to use at a better price than the similar rack options out there from other brands that are much more expensive. The Rhino Rack T-Load also comes with a great strap and load stop setup for securing the canoe as well.
