Replacement for Dexter 010-019-00 Grease Seal
Question:
i see your answer to this is the RG06-050. I am wondering if this is equal to or superior quality than the dexter? The original Dexter started to go bad after less than 10,000 miles. I would like to upgrade to a higher quality seal

The Grease Seal # RG06-050 is indeed the correct replacement for the Dexter 010-019-00. As far as the quality differences go between the 2 products we don't really have any apples to apples comparison information explaining the differences.
We can look at the over 600+ reviews that give them a 4.8 out of 5 star rating. Many reviewers do attest to switching to them from Dexter seals and being happier. And there are many reviewers who came back after 1 year and still gave the product 5 stars.
