Recommended Hitch and 4-Bike Rack for a 2010 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
Hello. Im trying to make some decisions. We have a 2010 Hyundai Tucson. I am interested in purchasing C13120 and then adding C18087 or HR1400Z. Would those options be problematic for my vehicle? Thanks much.

The Curt Class III Hitch, part # C13120, is a great hitch for your 2010 Hyundai Tucson. With a tongue weight capacity of 525 pounds, it can definitely handle a 4-bike rack and the bikes. The only thing you will need to check is your owner's manual to ensure the Tucson itself can handle that much weight. I've linked to a video installation of this hitch for your reference.
As for choosing between the Curt and Hollywood Racks platform racks, both are great choices. They are of very similar designs, so the real choice between them will be something minor. That one thing that puts the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, part # HR1400Z, above the Curt, part # C18087, is the fact that it has a weight capacity of 50 pounds per bike while the Curt has a capacity of 45 pounds.
For that reason, I recommend the Sport Rider SE. I've linked to a video review of this rack as well.
