4-Bike Rack Solution For 2020 Chrysler Pacifica

Question:

I am looking for a bike rack that will work with my car and hold the bikes we have. We have a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid we cannot install a hitch without voiding the warranty on our car. We have an adult mountain bike, 2 kid mountain bikes 20, and a womens road bike. Ideally I would like it to hold all 4 bikes, but would for sure need to hold both kid bikes and either adult bike. To carry 4 bikes with a vehicle like your 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will unfortunately require a hitch installed as there isn't a truck rack that would allow you to carry that many bikes. So I know that's not what you wanted to hear but the hitches that fit your vehicle like the etrailer # e98903 do not require drilling or any permanent modification so you could easily remove the hitch if you felt the warranty was in question. Also worth noting is that there is the Magnuson Moss act which protects the install of aftermarket components from affecting the vehicle warranty.

With the hitch installed you could then use a 4 bike hanging rack like the Yakima Ridgeback part # Y02458 and you'd be set. To carry womens bike and childrens bikes a bike frame adapter bar like part # UB01 would be a great option as this provides a horizontal attachment point for the rack to attach to.
