As long as your 2015 BMW X1 sDriver 28i has the panoramic sunroof I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75761 which gives you a 2" receiver perfect for carrying a bike rack, a cargo carrier, or towing a trailer. The # 75761 has a tongue weight rating of 400lbs and a trailer weight rating of 4000lbs, but your X1 may not be rated for that much weight so you will need to check the owner's manual of your vehicle to find its towing capacity and use the lower rating between the hitch and vehicle.
If your X1 does not have a panoramic sunroof there is unfortunately not a trailer hitch receiver option available.
To tow a trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # C59236, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included videos for the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
