I Recommend Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41913 as it will work on your 2020 Ram 1500. It is designed to fit both models with either the Class 3 bumper or not. It offers you a maximum gross trailer weight of 15,000 lbs and maximum GTW when used with weight distribution of 17,000 lbs.(Please consult your owners manual for exact tow ratings)

Might I also suggest a Channel Style Adjustable Ballmount #C45900 to make towing most every trailer that you will encounter a breeze. It has both 2" and 2 5/16" balls and is height adjustable from 6" of drop and 5" of rise.

If you also need trailer wiring I recommend 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket, Chrysler/Dodge OEM Plug Adapter # HM40975-11933.
