Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2017 Jeep Renegade
Question:
I have a 2017 jeep renegade and I am trying to decide between the curt or draw tite class 3 hitch. Which one would you suggest?

Expert Reply:
For your 2017 Jeep Renegade, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13269. In my experience, Curt does a slightly nicer job on their finish, which means that the hitch will be better protected from the elements on a long-term basis.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a trailer wiring harness like # 118651, a ball mount like part # D-28 and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch. You'll also need a hitch pin like part # PC3.
I've linked to install videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness I recommended.
