Can the Swagman XC be Used with a Cargo Carrier

Question:

I am wanting to know if I could attach my cargo carrier to this bike rack? Does this rack have a 2 inch hitch on the end of it so that I could attach my carrier? Or do you all have a bike rack that will allow me to attach a cargo carrier? This is the initial rack I was referring to. I have a possible solution for you.

First, though, the Swagman XC, part # S64650, does not allow for a hitch accessory (like a cargo carrier) to be attached to it. In fact, we do not have any platform racks that allow for a cargo carrier to be attached save for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier, part # HR1450Z-85. However, this combo is built specifically for each other and is not compatible with other carriers.

You may be able to use the Lets Go Aero Hitch-It, part # LC731138, though. This bike rack is designed to be used on trailer tongues by bolting around them. It fits 2 to 4 inch tongues, so if your cargo carrier is 2", this can work for you. Of course, you would also need to ensure that your cargo carrier and your hitch are able to support this weight.
