Trailer Ball Height of B&W BWTS10033B Tow & Stow Ball Mount
Question:
Considering a BandW Tow Stow for a 2 receiver with a 3 inch drop . At its lowest adjustment position of 3 inches on a truck with a receiver that measures 20 to top of the receiver from the ground. Where would the 2 5/16 ball measure at its highest point with no weight on the hitch?

Expert Reply:
With the ball of the # BWTS10033B at it's highest position while the ball mount is in its downward or drop orientation, the base of the ball would be even with the top inside edge of the hitch receiver tube. The top of the ball would sit about 2-3/4 inches above that.
With the ball in it's highest position with the ball mount in it's upward or rise position, the base of the ball would sit about 3-1/2 inches above the inside top of the receiver tube and the top of the ball would sit about 6-1/4 inches above that.
If you're trying to determine the rise/drop you need, I'll link you to a helpful article that explains how to figure that out.
