Recommended 7-way Connector To Tow Trailer Without Brakes With 2020 Ford Escape

Question:

I have a 2020 Ford Escape with the towing package...but.. it has the 4 flat and my trailer at tear which does not have brakes has the 7 round. What do I need? Wasnt really wanting to spend $300 to change out the wiring.

Since your trailer does not have trailer brakes you will just need the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185 which will plug into the 4-way connector already installed on your 2020 Ford Escape, and will give you a 7-way and 4-way connector for towing your trailer.

If your trailer hitch receiver does not have the mounting tab for the connector to bolt to, you will also need the no drill mounting bracket # 18140.
