I am looking for a hitch cargo carrier for a 2021 Jeep wrangler unlimited. I am not seeing any options when I use the filter.

The reason you don't see any hitch-mounted cargo carriers for your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is because hitch cargo carriers are not vehicle-specific and will basically fit most any vehicle with a trailer hitch receiver. If you do not have a trailer hitch receiver on your Jeep yet then I recommend going with Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # DT78MR. This has the highest weight rating compared to other hitch receivers that fit your vehicle, rated at a max towing capacity of 4,500lbs and a max tongue weight of 675lbs. This offers a very simple installation process which you can see in the video I attached.

Now we can find a cargo carrier for your 2" receiver. For an open flat design, you can use Curt 20x48 Hitch Cargo Carrier # C18110. This weighs 30lbs and has a weight capacity of 300lbs. For a closed-in basket design, I recommend looking into the 23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier # M2200-2201. This comes with a lid to completely secure your cargo. It has a weight capacity of 450lbs. You can add Cargo Bag # M2202 to weather-proof your Carpod's load.
