Trailer Wiring Harness for 2021 Nissan Rogue

Question:

I have a 2021 Nissan rogue platinum. I see and got the wiring harness and viewed the 2020 video but it is different in 2021. I can not find the connectors to put the T connectors in. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

The 2021 Rogue is the first model year of the 3rd generation, so the fits from the 2020 model wouldn't likely carry over. Neither Curt nor Tekonsha have completed the process for evaluating a trailer wiring harness for the 2021 model at this time.

Your best bet would be to use a universal fit harness like # C59496 and tap it into the taillight circuits. The basic procedure is that you'd access the wiring harnesses feeding the taillight assemblies. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 while a helper activates each taillight function. Use the tester to probe the wires until you find the wire that powers up with each taillight function. Tap the green wire from the taillight converter into the right turn signal, the yellow into the left, the brown into the running lamp and the red into the brake lamp. Ground the white wire to the vehicle and run the black wire to the positive battery terminal.
