Recommended Solution for Lifting 100-lbs Propane Tank Into Truck Bed of 2019 Chevy Colorado

Question:

I need to be able to get a full 100lb vertical propane tank in to the bed of my 2019 Chevy Colorado. Do you all sell anything that will assist with this? The propane company will no longer aid me in getting the tank in the truck after it has been filled.

I may have a solution for you, but there's not anything specifically designed for such a task. For reference, most 100-lbs propane tanks weigh around 170-lbs when full. If you've got a 2" hitch receiver on the back of your 2019 Chevy Colorado then you can likely use the Viking Solutions Rack Jack II Hoist with Winch for 2" Hitches - 300 lbs # 310-VRJ001. This is typically used for hunting, but you could fashion some type of sling with some ratchet straps and attach that to the hook end to allow you to lift the tank into the truck bed with the winch. If you need straps, something like the Ratchet Tie Down Straps w/ Storage Bag - 12' Long x 1-1/4" Wide - 830 lbs - Qty 4 # ETBMB-05852 would likely work for you.

I've linked a review video of this for you to check out, but it's likely going to be the best solution.
