Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package 27,000 lbs.
Question:
I am looking to upgrade the hitch setup on my 2019 F-450 with factory puck system and 2015 Keystone Raptor. Im looking at the Reese M5 27K, and a Reese 5th Airborne Sidewinder. I dont see the 27k on your site, and I cant figure out which Sidewinder would fit the Raptor. Can you make the correct recommendation please?

Hi, I recommend the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package 27,000 lbs. it is # RP30922. This is a confirmed for the 2019 Ford F-450 Super Duty. This should match up to your 2015 Keystone Raptor.
The Sidewinder is currently only available at a max rating of 20K but this is not the Airborne model. The Airborne is available in 16K. If you have full use of your 8' in the F450 then a sidewinder is not going to provide a lot of benefit, this is intended for use in shortbed tow vehicles. If an air ride pin box is the goal, I suggest you review the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1116 # LC155943 that is rated for 21,000 lbs. Please verify the current pin box on your 2015 Keystone Raptor but I believe it to be a replacement fit.
