Recommended Weight Distribution System With Sway Control That Doesnt Use Friction Sway Control
Question:
Hi..... I have a Husky Centerline Hitch installed on my travel trailer and have the famous grinding noise from the spring arms. Would the Bracket Jacket Silencer Equalizer 95015150 fit the support brackets on my Hitch? Thanks for your help..

I have a replacement option for you, but the Sway Bracket Jackets for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ95-01-5150 you were looking at is only designed for Equal-i-zer weight distributions systems, and there is not a similar option that will work with your Husky Centerline Weight Distribution Hitch.
If it gets to the point that you cannot stand the noise of the friction sway control on your Husky system, I recommend replacing it with one of the Blue Ox SwayPro systems like the # BXW1000. These systems have built in sway control, but do not use friction which is the noise you hearing and instead uses tension on the spring bars by the lift chains to fight sway.
The # BXW1000 is rated for 750-1000lbs of total tongue weight, so you will want to verify your total tongue weight which is the tongue weight of your full loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle.
If you can let me know the weight range of your current weight distribution system, or the total tongue weight of your setup I would be happy to confirm the correct Blue Ox SwayPro System for you.
I included a video of the # BXW1000 for you to take a look at.
