Can Bias Ply Tire of Trailer with Size 205/75-14 be Replaced with Radial
Question:
Question about tires for my 2017 Conquest 268bh camper. It has ST205/75D14 with L rating on it. I assume they are bias ply tires. Can I install radial ST205/75 14 either c or d rated? Would radial or bias ply be better? Thanks

Radials are definitely the way to go as they are more stable on the highway hold up better to heat due to the way the plies are constructed on the tire. You definitely switch the size up you have by changing it to a radial like with the Karrier part # AM10234 for a Load Range C with a 1,925 lb capacity or part # AM10235 for Load Range D with a 2,200 lb per tire capacity.
As long as the lower rated tire has the capacity for the total weight of your trailer you'd be fine to use it but without knowing what your trailer weighs it's hard to say for sure at this point.
