Options to Carry Bikes on 2010 Honda Ridgeline With Hitch Pin Hole 1 Inch From Receiver
Question:
I have a Honda Ridgeline with built in 2 receiver hitch. The locking hole on the hitch is only 1 inch from the end. I need a 2-bike rack, for both a heavy e-bikes with fenders and a carbon frame e-bike. Is there a rack that will work for both for my truck?

All bike racks require the hitch pin hole to be a standard 1-1/2 inches deep in order to safely be used, which means there isn't a bike rack that is able to be used with that depth being 1 inch. The only option, if possible, is to remove that hitch on your 2010 Honda Ridgeline and instead use one with the necessary hitch pin hole spacing, either the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75280 or Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13385.
If you are able to remove your 2010 Ridgeline's hitch, either of these are a fit for your truck, and will allow you to use any bike rack. For your e-bikes with fenders, I recommend the Saris SuperClamp EX # SA4025F. This rack has a 60 lb bike capacity, which can easily accommodate most e-bikes. It has padded, ratcheting hooks that secure your bikes by the wheels - not by the frame. This prevents the rack from scratching and scuffing your bike's paint or damaging the frame, which makes the SuperClamp EX an excellent choice for transporting bikes with carbon fiber frames.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of bike racks for you to check out as well if you'd like.
