Does Trailair Pin Box Require Additional Tailgate Clearance Over Standard Pin Box
Question:
is there any need for tailgate mods with the LC158778 trail air when replacing my factory 1621HD. I could not tell with the video and have my factory tailgate now with no issues. Thx.

The Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box like the # LC158778 would not interfere with the tailgate of your truck in any way. It is not larger enough in size when compared to a standard pin box to require additional tailgate clearance.
